Privacy Policy

SkoolScope is operated by EAT THE BLOCKS PTE. LTD., a company registered in Singapore (“we”, “us”). This policy says what personal data we collect, why, and who else sees it. We handle it in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act.

What we collect from you

• Your email address, to sign you in and to write to you about your account.
• Your subscription status, and the customer id Stripe gives us. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us.
• What you create in the app: the communities you track, and the nicknames, notes and groups you add to them. These are private to you.
• Usage data: pages visited, browser type and IP address, from our server logs and from Google Analytics.

How we use it

To run the service, take payment, answer support requests, and understand which parts of the product people use so we can improve them. We do not sell your data, and we do not show it to other users.

Cookies

We use cookies to:

• keep you signed in;
• remember display choices such as your selected group, sort order and filters;
• measure visits with Google Analytics.

You can block cookies in your browser, but you will not be able to sign in without them.

Who else processes it

We use a few companies to run the service. Each gets only what it needs:

• Clerk, for sign-in. It holds your email address.
• Stripe, for payments. It holds your email address and payment details.
• Google Analytics, for visit statistics.
• Our hosting provider, which stores the database the app runs on.

Some of these companies store data outside Singapore, including in the United States. We use providers that protect it to a standard comparable to Singapore law.

Data about Skool communities and their owners

The service records information that Skool publishes on public pages: a community's name, description, member count and price, and the public profile of the person who runs it (their name, Skool handle and the links they list on their profile). We use this to provide the service, and we may use a community owner's public contact details to tell them about our own products.

If you run a Skool community and want your profile data removed or want us not to contact you, email support@skoolscope.com and we will do it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete it, except for billing records we must keep by law.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw consent to us using it. Email support@skoolscope.com and we will reply within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
